It was a pretty textbook race from the US--they led pretty much wire-to-wire with both power and technique.  Title IX has been good to the pool of national team talent from which the eight is selected.  The US were favorites going in to the regatta, and they showed why :)


NCAA Women, the new East Germans of rowing - Redrum - 08-04-2012

Didn't see any highlights.  Who finished silver and bronze?  Add;  got it:  Canada and Netherlands.

Side question: when counting medals attributed to Stanford athletes, does the school count a mdeal for each alum on a team sport, or just one for the overall team win?

I never realized the guys in the commercial were Stanford guys.
