Deante' Gray decommits - StannyBoy - 01-28-2012

I'm guessing he wasn't admitted. Now looking at TCU and Baylor. I can't find anything to confirm on Twitter yet. If Whitfield flips to UCLA we'll be down to 2 WRs and I'm not sure if Dontonio Jordan has gotten in yet.

Disappointing but understandable. Thanks for the update.

Best of luck to Deante.  Would have loved him to be Cardinal.  He'll do well with his terrific speed.

Re: Deante' Gray decommits - socalstanfan1 - 01-28-2012

Purely a rumor at this stage, but I've seen some talk on Twitter that Michael Rector, currently committed to Washington, may switch to Stanford on NSD.  The infamous "silent commit"...

I know that decommits/admissions issues are part of the process, particularly at Stanford.  But I wonder, does this seem a bit more than usual?  And, if so, could it be partly due to the large number of new coaches who are just getting familiar with exactly how stringent the admissions process is?  Just a thought.
