Well, if he\'s leaving the Bay Area, that means he\'s not transferring to Stanford, but I don\'t think the article said to where he was going.

Wanna bet he transfers again before his time at Florida is up?

Comments from observers on the Bootleg mention that Martin\'s allusion to a better evironment had to do with people and a past that were t-r-o-u-b-l-e.   Even in a fairly positive environment at UC Berkeley,  apparently t-r-o-u-b-l-e  could come looking for him.   So, if you think about it,  he made a fairly positive and mature decision.  Better to transfer than to go all Masoli on us.

Except, of course,  if one were going to pick a place that was free from the bad influences of the type he might have been fleeing,  Florida would not be anywhere near the top of the list.  But, I\'m a practical guy.  He could have transferred back to his original pick, Notre Dame,  and ended up playing against us anyway.   So, on balance,  Florida looks like a pretty good choice to me!    Good luck to him.
