Another school's loss is...probably our loss as well (recruiting) -
fullmetal - 01-06-2012
Four-star WR Thomas Johnson from Dallas Skyline withdrew his commitment to Texas and is considering TCU, Oregon, and kal. He's ranked anywhere from the 3rd to the 10th best receiver in the nation. Please go to TCU...

Cal landed Jordan Payton today, Shaq Thompson tomorrow, and Arik Armstead is probably next week. Plus they already have Bryce Treggs. Considering their terrible coaching staff I'm not sure how they're doing it.

I guess those coaches are telling all of their recruits that they (the individual player) are the linchpin upon which the fortunes of kal will turn and that entire gameplans will be devoted to showcasing their abilities and improving their NFL draft stock.
I almost feel sorry for them.

I'd rather Pac-12 get stronger as a conference and steal recruits from other conferences even if it means tougher matchups for Stanford.

Or, they keep assuring each incoming class that they will get early playing time which would be reinforced by viewing the product on the field.
