Gee, what happens if you take what was already a horrible idea, and make it into a reality TV show. What could possibly go wrong.

Why is it called the New Stanford Prison Experiment? Doesn't seem Stanford has anything to do with it, should be the Netflix Prison Experiment.

Given the size of Stanford's legal department, I'm guessing some lawyers called some other lawyers and reached a private settlement -- either before or after the script was completed or the contract was entered. I'm guessing studio lawyers asked about releases signed, etc...
