Not just a new thing. Daughter had friends with at least the personal trainers, private coaches, recruiting plans for years. Held kids back so they'd be a year older in HS as well. . . .
Worked for one, as the kid got into an Ivy, with, shall we say, less than stellar academics. . . .
And these were for water sports . . . .
