The Senate bill regarding college athletics has passed out of a committee and is headed to the full Senate. 

 College sports bill clears a key Senate hurdle despite SEC, Big Ten opposition

(A reminder: be restrained and courteous when discussing what may conflict with others’ political opinions)

i haven't read the bill itself, but i hope it passes.
