What did everyone think of it?
I thought it was pretty funny, but I could see where some might be offended, especially those who see religion as a totally serious matter that is not to be spoofed.

I thought it was very funny and well done. I could see where devout types could be upset -- especially the last line in the South.

The skit was cute enough. Hard to do something in that realm without offending some, but I am sure most of those types are not up at 11:30PM on Saturday night watching SNL.
Giving props to the kicker was spot on. The kicker has done a lot more of the amazing and exceptional stuff.
FWIW, this weekend was the first time I had actually watched a Tebow game in the NFL. His throws are terrible. I couldn't help but think that maybe he has only thrown a couple of interceptions because his wounded duck throws are simply too hard for DBs to catch.

There's a reason this skit was put near the end of the show.
I really liked how eager "Tebow" was to jump up and get close to Jesus every time He directed a comment to him.

And not one of them linked the ACTUAL SKIT about which they were so excited. I give JPRI a pass because he's even older than me. The rest of youse, the a-go-go internet generation, sheesh.
