From Stanford Continuing Studies:
Stanford Football has let us know that Matt Doyle will be unavailable to lead the remaining sessions of SPT 14. Under GM Andrew Luck's direction, they have told us they will continue the course as scheduled ... These sessions will be led by other members of Stanford football leadership including Andrew Luck himself.

If the former that should become known in the not to distant future, if the later (or something else) it may be a while before the rumor mill kicks into gear....

There’s a lot of love for Matt on this board, but I’ve talked to a handful of former employees who were treated really poorly by Matt.
I’ve also heard some rumors that’s he’s the one who leaked the TT news to ESPN to save his own skin.

A reminder that Matt Doyle was also implicated in the Taylor affair.

at Stanford you can retire if your age + years of service is 75 or greater, I think he hits that mark, class of 1998 so +/- 50 years old and 25 or 26 years at Stanford (you are also be eligible if you are over 55 and have 10 or more years of service)

I just saw a complimentary comment by Dick Gould for Matt on Facebook. That’s good enough for me.
