New jersey numbers - terry - 07-05-2010

According to the new roster, a few players have changed jersey numbers --

Jonathan Martin changed from # 73 to # 55

Chase Thomas changed from # 93 to # 44

Alex Debniak changed from # 51 to # 42 (a more appropriate number for someone who may appear at RB)

Alex Loukas and Usua Amanam traded numbers -- Loukas is now # 5, Amanam is now # 15

Quinn Evans changed from # 33 to # 24 (Kris Evans\' old number -- no need to put a new name on the jersey)

Loukas is a safety; Carrington is a safety; both have #5?

Re: New jersey numbers - washingtonismoney - 07-05-2010

There are too few numbers for the number of players there are; there have been situations (the Bush-era USC team, for example, had two players with #5) where players share numbers. Generally either one redshirts while the other plays, or one plays on offense while the other plays on defense.

Nice to see that... - Mick - 07-06-2010

...Kyle Olugbode gets to keep his high school number.
