In furtherance of this thought, I'll let my misdirected and misguided emotional part of my brain overrule the pea-sized analytical portion, and predict a 28-24 Cardinal victory.

Sorry, Marty!  

I picked against Stanford.  I'll still be at the game proving that as with second marriages, Hope, however faint, triumphs over Experience.

I now think of Stanford victories in the same way I thought of Santa Claus.  6 days of the week I scoff but Game Day is like Christmas Eve, on that day I believe.

I think of our Offense, if it were a person, like I think of Santa Claus. On some days, like Christmas, he shows up.
On other days, like Thanksgiving, Easter, etc., he's a No Show.

Taking the Card 35-32.

I think giving Elijah Brown a full week with the 1's and TT and co a week to review film to deliver a brobdingnagian improvement. I expect a much crisper team and offense this week. I suspect last week went way worse that TT anticipated and he needed to make a move before the game got too far ahead of him. That's why the offense felt very out of sync.

Ready to watch this team win 4 of it's last 5 and go bowling. :)

With tight odds, this could be a coaching duel against Clawson, who might have been on some people's lists for the Stanford job after 2020.  

Who will make the best adjustments and play calling as the game unfolds?, rather than one team (like CLEM or SMU) simply having better athletes.  

Elijah Brown gets a clear shot here at QB. 
Somebody gotta bust it open at RB.
