ACC PM and ACC Huddle will be live at Stanford Saturday - 82lsju - 10-16-2024

what's the over/under on how many people will show up at 8am PT on Saturday?  Might have been a better choice to have this next weekend during reunion when kickoff is 12:30pm PT.

Quote:The ACC Network is set to broadcast live from Stanford’s campus this Friday and Saturday leading into the Cardinal’s ACC-primetime matchup against No. 21 SMU on Saturday night at 5 pm PT. This marks the first time the network brings its weekend football shows to The Farm.

ACC Huddle Tailgate will take place in the hammer throw area located within Cobb Track and Angell Field with a pair of shows running over the weekend. ACC PM will be live from 1-3 pm PT Friday afternoon and ACC Huddle will begin with an 8 am PT show on Saturday morning. Admission is free for all fans.

Guess not many will show up.

Maybe Stanford could pay for "extras" or offer Stanford Hospital overnight shift free breakfast.

I was hoping undergrad attendance would be strong, but obviously that's far too optimistic.

This could be an embarrassment waiting to happen. Maybe the Athletic Department can pipe in some crowd noise and resurrect some fan dummies from the lockdown era for the backdrop.

The Huddle is a different vibe than College Gameday. They work all day between games and set up somewhere on campus pregame, then move into the stadium during the game, if this is their primetime game of the day. They do their final postgame in an empty stadium. It's a set and if people are milling around, so be it. At least that's the impression I've gotten. Stuck at home with a wife recovering from surgery, but if you go, say hi to Taylor Tannebaum for me.

They should set up pre-game in Chuck Taylor Grove.
And arguably it'd be more lively to stay there during the game than to move into the stadium.
