Was this a perfect sports weekend for the Cardinal? Everything I saw in my feed was a victory.
Winners: football, men's soccer, women's soccer, women's volleyball, men's golf, women's golf...
Did field hockey or men's water polo play? Cross country?

A couple of Croats, a couple of Serbs, several of the best CA and CT prep school players, plus the best goalie in the class of 2022. The roster is pretty dang impressive. Polo in the East is growing, and growing fast, especially on the women's side. Congrats to the Tigers for making a great breakthrough.

They've got a pretty good program, all right. Princeton is 19-5 and they've only had one blowout loss, to #1 Cal. They had three losses at the Davis tournament, all by one or two goals to #12 UC Irvine, #6 Davis, and #2 UCLA. They have won 10 of their last 11, losing only by two goals to #10 Pepperdine.
BTW, some of you might recognize the name of Princeton's quarterback:

I don't know squat about WP but an ol' bud of mine was on the Stanford team years ago and would describe the "eastern Europeans" as mercenaries. Intimidating as all hell.

Indeed. It's the national sport, or close to it in Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, and Croatia, and really popular in Spain and Italy, even Germany as well.
Little known fact, water polo was one of the first team sports in Olympic history, debuting in 1900 with a few other team sports. The 1896 games only had individual competitions.
