MBB: Stanford beats Oregon 71-68 - Papa John - 12-10-2021
The Stanford men (NET ranking of 155), after the annual fall finals hiatus, resume conference play versus the struggling Ducks (130 NET) on Sunday. Although NET rankings are more unreliable than normal this early in the season, neither team has defeated a Quad 1 opponent. Both teams are 0-1 in the conference, with Stanford's loss at Coloardo and Oregon's loss a close one at home versus ASU. The Cardinal are 4-0 at home, so maybe they can continue that streak on Sunday.

Too early for thread drift? Had the TV on and heard a familiar name. Cormac Ryan and ND are playing Kentucky. I had completely forgotten this transfer happened. :)

Undecided on whether going to Maples or watching the game on TV.
I'm hoping to see a good game, with a starting lineup of MOC, Delaire, Ingram, Spencer, and Raynaud, and a Cardinal win.

Watching the women’s game livestream, it looks like most are masked (a couple of people eating were not).

Masks are required except while eating or drinking. I didn't see ushers policing it, but this is a Stanford crowd, so probably not a lot of violators.

He doesn't call the games. He watches while pontificating on irrelevant topics and occasionally comments on the game.

Ingram is by far the best player on our team. The more he is involved in our offense, the better we will do.

We take a 7 point lead into the locker room at the half. Great play out of Keefe.
Delaire just doesn't play team ball. He tries to do too much on his own. I think we are worse when he is playing. It's too bad because he has good skills.
Up to an 11 point lead!
