UF football support staff - 82lsju - 12-06-2021

Quote:New Florida coach Billy Napier plans to hire an "unprecedented" support staff, he said Sunday.

Napier had close to 40 analysts at Louisiana-Lafayette and could end up with even more in Gainesville. In addition to a $7.5 million annual budget for 10 assistants, Napier got a $5 million pool to build a support staff that includes analysts.

"We're going to hire an army of people here," he said. "We're going to create an infrastructure not only in the personnel department but also from an on-campus recruiting, creative media, name, image and likeness. We've got a great vision for the organization that we're going to create here."

The issue is almost none of the aforementioned staff are actually for football. Certainly not on-field analysts. Saban has a dozen of them.
