Lowering the CardBoard temperature - admin - 12-02-2021

In a board filled with passionate fans with differing opinions, it's easy for emotions to flare, especially in seasons in which a primary team has underperformed. Frankly, the decline in tenor precedes the slide of the football team, however. Nevertheless, it's possible to disagree without being disagreeable.

Absolutely disagree on whether the coach should be fired, athletes should be paid, or whatever. Don't, however, attack or mock fellow board members. Posts with statements like "Jane, you ignorant slut," or more commonly, "That shows how little you know," will be flagged by the moderators. Actions from warnings to bans of varying durations will be implemented.

Most CardBoard members have gone to universities and learned to argue using evidence and reasoning. Act like it!

Let's return the CardBoard to being a place with "More signal, less noise."
