Read it today. Great stuff! Thanks for giving it wider visibility.

Would not be shocked if those two high school teams gave some of the Division 1 College California based football teams a bit of a challenge.

I remember in the late sixties in the Bay Area there was a school for the blind and deaf students that had a football team which was very, very good.

"According to the database of the recruiting site 247Sports, more than half the nation’s five-star recruits in the last five years (82 of 163) have signed with four colleges: Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia and Clemson."

Wow. I didn't realize that it was that bad.

What’s the deal with the NYTimes giving so much ink to California prep football?!

Florida has its own breeding ground.

They have something of a limited football schedule because very few teams want to play them.

They flew out to California three years ago to play Mater Dei and got one of their rare losses.

David Bailey (Mater Dei) might still choose Stanford...

They also had a very good wrestling team.  My dad wrestled for Salinas HS and Hartnell College.  He said the blind school always beat his team.
