MGolf on the PGA Tour - Spiny_Norman - 09-07-2021

Patrick Rodgers and Joseph Bramlett were on the bubble to retain their PGA tour cards for the next season. But both were successful as a result of clutch performances in the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour event.

At #58 in the final FedEx Cup standings, Maverick McNealy already has his tour card for next season. Neither Brandon Wu nor Isaiah Salinda finished in the top 150. However from what I can tell, Wu has earned a PGA tour card for 2021-22 because he finished 13th on the Korn Ferry Tour points list (top 25 get a tour card).

Morikawa is the Bay Area's big star. But he needs to play better then lately in the Ryder Cup.

Salinda spent the year on the Canadian Tour, which has been problematic given the border situation. He has only played in 7 events and made the cut in 3. I would guess he will be back on that tour again next year, trying to play well enough to get elevated to the Korn Ferry Tour.

Wu is one of the 50 players who earned their card via Korn Ferry for '22. There are a total of ~175 players on the PGA tour.
