Change in indoor seating at Stanford - BobK - 08-10-2021

Supposed to get out WVB tix today instead just got an email that they will be delayed because fans will distanced from the student athletes. I’m in the first row right behind the first Stanford bench.

A friend did get his tix. He’s in the 3rd row

I got my tickets (7th row).

Now trying to figure out how to transfer one from each pair to someone else.

ETA:  Reading about Apple Wallet, it seems like these tickets are not shareable.  !?  Am I missing something?
Emailed ticket office.

I don't think the electronic transfer process has changed.
Log into gostanford.com with your computer. Click on Manage My Account, then Transfer Tickets.
If you've already put that ticket into your Apple Wallet, it will still be in your wallet, but will be invalid. So remove it, being careful about which one of the pair you remove!
Or you could use Bob's method, just forward to your seat mate the email you received with the link to download all the tickets, download them and you each be careful about which seat you use.

Thanks old alum. Seems easier to just send the tickets email to your friend

well if transferring is like the new process for football tix then the person you transfer them to must has an account with the Stanford ticket office.

yes that's always been true for electronic ticket transfer via Stanford. They have to log into their account to get them.

my understanding after talking to the ticket office is that this is really the only way to transfer football tickets now since they are making it a royal pain to get physical tickets and/or to allow you to print them at home.  Previously I just emailed the pdf of tickets to distribute them.

Yes, mailing PDFs is how I handled this in the past.  I might be sharing different matches with several people.  None of them currently have accounts with Stanford Athletics.
From what I read about Apple Wallet, the tickets could in principle be transferable to anyone with an iphone, but these tickets have been made non-transferable.
Very annoying.

OK, found this:

E-mailing the link for that game might work just as well, even for those without an account. The recipient should open the link from their smart phone so that they can put it in their wallet. I don't know but it's worth a try.
