Great interview (as usual) Troy!

I wish I could be as optimistic about next year's offense as Coach Pritchard is, but with only 3 returning starters it's hard. The sad state of the defense doesn't help either

Closer to 7 returning starters. Rouse, Miller, Bragg, Jones, Wilson, Fisk kind of, Heimuli counts IMO.

(I am also not very optimistic)

Probably depends a lot on which depth chart you look at. The one I saw only showed 3 of those as starters (I was not counting Heimuli, that would make 4)

There are really only two positions where we don't have deep experience but they are big ones, Center and QB.  In all the other positions, we will have similar talent and experience level to what we fielded last year at the end of season (post Wilson and Wedington injuries).  As it is with most college football teams, it will all come down to QB play. How much of a drop-off is there from Mills to (McKee?)? If not a big drop-off, our offense should be pretty good like it was in 2020.

I think McKee will be excellent and the offense will be pretty good. Defense????
