I'd forgotten it was today. We are down 26-23 late in the first half.

I didn't forget. THIS is the most important game left on the regular season schedule.
Sadly, another key Stanford injury, the team trailing to the Ducks and Bill Walton on commentary have combined to give me a really bad feeling about the second half. :(
Hope it all works out.

Suffered a lower extremity injury in practice sometime this week.

Just like in our first game with the Ducks, we appear to be able to beat them. We just need to finish.
Williams just went on a 7-0 run to put us up by 4 with 11 minutes to play.

Well, looks like the wheels are coming off again.

Starting to get behind by more than 1 possession. Not feeling it that we can win this game. They've been hitting plenty of 3s.
Down 1, Dux possession. We foul, they make both FTs. They have fouls to give before we shoot FTs. It will be tough for us to get a shot at tying it.

Williams had a good look. Game of inches.

Another close loss... We always seem to come up short in close games. I don't have an answer, but it's very frustrating to come up on the wrong side of 1-2 possession games.

Wow, that last minute is a perfect microcosm for Stanford basketball under Jerod Haase.

The game was essentially over, but when you are down by 3 and .4 seconds left, why would you throw the ball to the only spot where you can't score a 3 pointer? With .4 seconds left you can catch and shoot, why not put up a half court shot, there were two uncovered Stanford players...

Far too many defensive breakdowns by us. This has been a problem all season. This should be a fixable problem, but <shrug>.
Gonna need to win the next two and maybe one more after to get in.

...it's a good thing for Haase that his continued employment at Stanford is not subject to post game review by this board.

I thought both teams were playing at a pretty high level in the second half. It was exciting.
Delaire should have gotten a touch at the end. Much easier said than done, however, when the clock is getting near zero.

I'm not much of a bracketologist, but it'd take more than that, no? I'd think win out and get to the finals at least? We'll see. Doesn't seem likely, in any case. I was zooming with a class and came on late, only to find ODS out with that injury. They needed to find a way to win tonight, but sadly did not.

Did DaSilva foul out? Was surprised he wasn't in the game in the last couple minutes I watched.

And he looked like he was limping on the sidelines. Couldn't see if he was wearing a boot or not. They said "day to day."
