University of South Bend's Drunken Fans - Erika - 10-22-2011
This from the Washington Post:
Quote:USC and Notre Dame will be playing in the first night game at Notre Dame Stadium in 21 years. Lets put this another way: Notre Dame football has been so middling that, for the last 21 years, NBC would rather devote its prime-time spot to that one Law & Order episode. You know, the one that had a murder in it.
Actually, the reason is much simpler: Notre Dame stopped scheduling night games in part because its fans would get too drunk after tailgating all day. They freely admitted this.
