Tubby may have some problems getting approval from the school's academic Senate, since he came up short when asked "What are the three branches of the federal government"....
his answer was "the house, Senate and  executive branch ".

Am surprised that any school would can coach in this (read:  lack of $$ from football) environment.  So I figured Muschamp must have been near end of current deal.  It's not like South Carolina is a football power that believes it is entitled to 10 win seasons.  Um . . . a $15M buyout, per ESPN article.  Wow!

I wonder what Shaw's buyout is in his new, double-secret-probation contract is?

He did. He also said a lot of other cringeworthy things. Well done, Alabama.

On further review, Hilinski was beaten out by a graduate transfer from Colorado St.

Will be interesting to see whether the interim coach will start Hilinski.

Ouch. In Eugene we really like Mario Cristobal and I hope we keep him for a long time. But I just checked: Muschamp was getting $4.6 million, and Mario $2.7 million before he took a 10% pay cut along with all other Oregon coaches. Cristobal is a good man, good coach, and good recruiter. But how can anybody criticize taking a job that doubles your earnings?
