I know some people have been clamoring to have challenge trials to assess vaccine efficacy more quickly.  Now the UK will.

May not be done in time to assess the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, but it can probably be used to better characterize how they work.  But first, the details of how you work out the challenge study has to be worked out.
