Surprised there hasn’t been more comments. This is a great kickoff time and when Big Game should always kickoff.

Under the present circumstances, where there is no commute across the Bay and no tailgating, the game time matters a whole lot less. As long as it isn't Pac-12 after dark, it's fine.

Seems to me Big Games @Cal are always around 1pm, to give people time to get out of the East Bay before it gets dark.

Seems to me Big Games @Cal are always around 1pm, to give people time to get out of the East Bay before it gets dark.
Not always, there have been a number of late afternoon and evening games.
