Covid saves Smith - Phogge - 08-11-2020

Viking and ex-Trojan Cam Smith tested positive when he reported to camp two weeks ago. He was examined and found to have an aortic condition that had gone undiscovered since birth. At some point he probably would have dropped dead. Surgery will fix it and he intends to resume his career down the road.

A small silver lining.

Since birth...!  That means the generally-very-thorough NFL physical also missed it.  Wow.  That is a blessing for him and his family.
