The House is now mandating mask wearing after one of their members, Rep. Gohmert, tested positive on a white house prescreen.

I can't tell if the embedded video in the article is taken out of context, but the snippet has Gohmert pondering whether he got the virus _because_ he wore a mask.

Really dissapointing to see just how dumb our elected officials are. Gohmert is a real brain genius. Apparently his congressional staff, who he has berated for wearing masks in the office, found out via news reports.
Pelosi and McConnell at least should be smart enough to know better. Both houses should have mandated masks weeks ago.

Members of congress were all asked to wear masks. Gohmert is one of the ones who refused. Now it will be a mandate.

Just goes to show you that when things get bad, people finally come to their senses and start embracing ideas they once rejected out of hand. Survival is a strong instinct.
