D 2 conference suspends all Fall sports. Locally SF State, Hayward and Sonoma State affected. Can’t see how the UC system cannot follow suit. Also SJS, SD State, Sac State, Cal Poly and Fresno are part of the CSU system but have D1 football in one of the two divisions and are in limbo currently.

The plan right now at UCSB is to have at least some students on campus in fall 2020, more grad students than undergraduates. Depending on the risk factors for the instructor, smaller classes can be taught in person, but it looks like all classes will have to be partially online since some students might not be allowed/able to return to Santa Barbara in the fall. If that's what's happening at UCSB, then it's highly likely that UCLA will be the same. Don't know about Cal since they start almost 1 1/2 months before the quarter schools.

UCSB is in the Division I Big West conference along with Hawaii, UC Riverside, UC Davis, UC Irvine, Long Beach State, Cal Poly San Luiso Obispo, Cal State Fullerton. If the three CSUs say no fall sports it will be interesting to see what the four UCs and Hawaii decide.

I don't see the rush for the Pac-12 schools to decide this very moment whether or not they will have fall sports. It seems like we learn something new about the virus every week, so it makes sense to me to hold off on that decision until sometime in June when we have (much) better information than we have today.
