As noted earlier in the thread, SCU is going to full digital educational environment for the spring.
As a concerned alumnus, I reached out to their Finance Department, and asked "Now that classes, campus life and the like have moved off-campus and classes will be conducted completely from a digital standpoint, I think we can all agree that the purpose of college extends beyond digital instruction. Given that’s the case, I would like to know what kind of tuition reduction that my alma mater is making."
I could give you their full response. But let me reduce it to two sentences:
1. We have massive fixed costs which actually increased with the move to the all-online environment.
2. We ain't cuttin' sxxt. (or words to that effect). She helpfully noted that late fees would be postponed to the end of the semester. Wow.
Just looked up the SCU endowment. Recently passed $1 billion, now at $1.02 billion.

Guessing SCU endowment is probably down to less than $1 billion after the last month.

Haven't audited their financials, so unless they hedged massively on the downside, I'm guessing that's correct...
