It's kind of shocking Stanford had 0 votes in either poll last week. I'm imagining that changes this week.

The nationally televised beatdown against Kansas did not have us looking like a top-25 team.
Meanwhile, UW lost in OT at Cal, so I don't think we're going to get a lot of mileage out of these two wins either. I'm still very optimistic about our team, but I think it will take a win over Arizona or Oregon to get us more than a handful of votes. And that's fine, too--"no one believes in us" is a great motivator.

Heh, spoke too soon. We're 27th in the AP poll released today. We went from 0 points to 77 in a week.

Plus, re: points in the polls, keep in mind our 2 losses are to AP #5 Butler (by 1 point, no less!) and #6 Kansas.
Can't get ahead of ourselves though. Need to beat the teams we should be beating (as we have so far), and USC is favored against us at home by a point. Plus we have a major boogeyman in the program...Haase is currently 0-6 in LA. A road sweep would be massive.
