TreeCast podcast w/David Shaw's latest thoughts -

New TreeCast is up and breaking down Stanford's loss to Colorado -- in particular the flying fickle fourth quarter of fate -- and updating the latest news as the Card get ready for Washington State. Plus, the moment I knew K.J. Costello wasn't quite right in Boulder, and Stock Up/Stock Down. Listen, subscribe, rate, and review! Thank you for listening.

I usually love the TreeCast because Troy almost always has some great insights. But this one disappointed me. Won't repeat details I posted on Twitter, but I really felt like the head-to-toe awful offensive performance was glossed over to the point of sounding like a Shawpologist.

Maybe because the last game I had seen was against UCLA, but in comparison the offense didn’t look that bad. It was frustrating to see us fail to convert third downs time and again, but we also moved the ball well in spurts, something we didn’t do against UCLA. Not that it counts for much, but we did out gain Colorado if memory serves and we certainly had a better yards/play both running and passing. Usually that means more points on the board, unless turnovers killed you, but not last Saturday.

I'm not here to tell you what you want to hear. I'm here to tell you what I think.
Onward. Thank you for listening! Hopefully you find the next episode (dropping Friday morning) a bit more enjoyable.

And don't stop being you Troy and you have never told me what I want to hear and I value that. This is the first time I've wondered if we saw/listened to the same game
