MSwim - #11 Ethan Hu Commits to Stanford - 82lsju - 07-21-2019

Quote:Hu swims for Harker High School, and won the 200 IM and the 100 fly at this year’s CIF championships. His winning time of 45.72 in the 100 fly rattled the national high school record and made him the 2nd-fastest high schooler ever in the event.

Nice get in an area of need. His flat start 100 fly being already faster that the rolling relay leg from NCAAs is an instant plus.

With solid backstroke & sprint free times to go with his IM times, looks to have relay and multi event scoring potential.

We may be another year in proof of concept for the coaching staff, but would love to see just one elite freestyle sprinter added (South Africa, Hungary, Australia,....Pennsylvania)

Seems like a good get for the new coaches. Is this the first commit for the new staff?
