New Board Assistance - Hank 91 - 05-23-2018

Quick question here -- can anyone tell me how to revert back to my original screen name? I've always been Hank 91, but the new software has somehow switched me to hwaddles. I've tried to update my profile, but I don't see an option to change my screen name.

I believe only admins/moderators can change user names, send one of them a PM.

Mods can't do it - just admins.

@"hank"  I changed your username and flipped the switch so that all users can change their usernames from within their profiles.

Hi, I just noticed the same thing. I would like to change my profile name to what it was most recently, ChicagoCard. I've looked several times in my profile but couldn't see where to make that edit. Maybe the change mentioned above takes some time to appear for normal board users?...

Hi, I just noticed the same thing. I would like to change my profile name to what it was most recently, ChicagoCard. I've looked several times in my profile but couldn't see where to make that edit. Maybe the change mentioned above takes some time to appear for normal board users?...

I just checked with the test account and the function is available, so it should be for you as well. Go to User CP in the upper left, then, under the menu heading Your Profile, select the option "Change Username." It will then prompt you for your password and your preferred new user name.

Thanks! I was clumsy and first I edited the "Current Custom User Title" then realized I didn't follow instructions as you laid them out. I edited my username but if possible would like the user title set back to default, if possible. Can I do that? Doesn't appear so.

Should be fixed. You're back to Daily Editor.

The change username instructions have now been added to the help docs under the Misc menu.
