UCLA's pitcher has been ahead in every count; he's had eight 0-2 counts in two innings. And he's behind 4-0. Bizarre. But great. Tawa got the 4th run on a solo homer. Pretty sure he was 0-2 also!!

Stanford avoids blowing a 10-run lead and wins, 13-11.
Talk about staggering over the finish line . . . .

Wow. Who would've thought we'd have to summon Little today? Wonder what tomorrow's game is going to be like.
Quote:FINAL | Jack Little picks up his 10th save of the season and Stanford hangs on for a 13-11 win over UCLA to even the series. #GoStanford

UCLA appears to be shorter of reliable pitchers for this game. It's not clear who they might start: Mora and Garcia now are out.
Meanwhile, we have fresh arms in Miller, Brandon Beck, and Matthiesen, with Palisch and Little able to go more than one.Â
Those seem like good Stanford odds. but this series hasn't followed form; two of the countries best pitching staffs have given up 36 runs in two games.
