Bowl game threads - washingtonismoney - 12-16-2017
Oregon is getting handled by Boise 14-0. Royce Freeman, who's skipping the bowl game, is trying to fire up the troops. I'm not sure how I feel about players skipping bowl games, but that seems a bit goofy. (As I type this, Oregon's Herbert just got strip-sacked and Boise has the ball in the red zone. Herbert didnt' sense the rush. Maybe rusty?)

Oregon had 4th and 2 in Boise territory and punted. Down 14. In a meaningless exhibition game.
Who is coaching them? If that's the kind of decision-making we can look forward to facing every year then I'm all for it, but on the merits, wow that's bad.

Herbert just threw a poor pick, after getting strip-sacked. Believe he's 7/11 for 33 yards.

I know overinterpretation from bowl games is something like the worst fallacy in college football fandom, but man Oregon looks hapless, and I'm unfairly wondering about the Cristobal hire because of it.

Was Cristobal coaching them?
The more worrying thing, if you're an Oregon fan, was that Herbert looked pedestrian. Him being great is their best hope for next year.
