Love TD run - lex24 - 11-19-2017
Watching replay. Came in ogre set. Marx makes a great block and Herbig buries a DB.

Yes, saw that two. Marx really creams the defender. And Herbig almost falls on top of the poor guy he blocked. I mean thats 350 lbs on the poor guy.

Creative. Running outside in the Ogre. Good stuff.

I'm watching the GIF of that play that Stanford sent out in its email, which is great because the camera angle is the opposite of what I saw from my shady side view. Love just gets lost behind the big guys and then veers left and before they know it, the safeties and LBs get sucked up to the scrum and he's gone.Â

I noticed the Marx block live but missed seeing the Herbig block right after it, until I got to see a replay. Herbig swallowed up that guy like an amoeba engulfing its prey.

I think this conversation should have a link to the replay.
This version has first the sideline camera then the end zone view.

I have also noticed hat in general HeBIG tends to lay on top of the guys he pancakes for a few extra seconds after the play is over.Â

Actually, I think the Cal player saw 63 coming and drops to the ground! Good choice. 63 pauses for a moment, like "what do I do now?" and then slowly lays on him.

If you didn't know any better, you'd have thought that the defenseman was trying to block Herbig.

Really well blocked play by everyone, especially Marx, Herbig, Wilson, and Harrington. Love deserves credit for seeing the open space and cutting it outside.
