MWP lost to C.al 10-9 on 2OT in the 3rd place match in the MPSF tournament. Since 3 teams from the MPSF will advance to the NCAAs, Stanford is probably the odd team out among C.al, Stanford, U.SC and UCLA. After defeating both C.al and U.SC in the regular season, Stanford could not get past them in the post-season tourament.

I dont think Stanford beat SC this year. I saw two losses in September. Was there a third regular season game?Â

You're right, CTCard. I was thinking of the UCLA defeat two weeks ago. Stanford was on a hot streak before the MPSF tournament with 12 consecutive wins. Now the season is likely done.
