Youth served - washingtonismoney - 11-19-2017
The fourth-quarter lineup, by my count, had four starters guaranteed to terminate their eligibility at the end of the year. (Bright, Marx, Kalamvayi, Cotton.)
So keep in mind when evaluating the inconsistency of the team that its on the whole fairly young.

I will worry about the ones who have eligibility remaining but may have a great opportunity to be drafted high: Love, Reid, Meeks, Schultz, Phillips. But I will worry about them on Dec 2 (or Nov 25 if UW doesn't take care of business).

I think Phillips has made it clear this is his last year. I think theres a very good chance hes not the only one.

I don't know what you consider to be "drafted high", but I suspect only 2-3 would make that cut by my book.
But, that doesn't really matter so much as what do they want to do. Luck could have been drafted #1, but he came back. And of course plenty of high profile kids come back elsewhere. On the other hand, Terrence Brown didn't get drafted but didn't come back. Graham Shuler apparently moved on without wanting to play football anymore. In general we don't know such things. [Though it has seemed clear for awhile that Phillips seems to want to move on.]
The one thing we kind-of know, is that for some kids there is a little more pull to stay until they can get a degree.

Speaking of Terrence Brown, he's apparently still a graduate assistant at UW, according to their online staff list. From what I understand, this is the entry-level job of coaching. I think he's been there two-three years now.
