Nothing we don't already know, but it's nice that he's getting national attention

Re: Bryce Love, Real Life Roadrunner - Griffins78 - 10-02-2017

I have never seen another RB like Bryce Love since I’ve been watching Stanford football for over 44 years. We’ve had some amazing RBs during that time as you all know. During the ASU game I realized that when Love was running I didn’t feel any drama. There was a confidence, a feeling of certainty that nobody would catch him and he was going all the way.

With most plays and runners I felt a need to scream, “Go! Go!” and urge them on. I remember whenever Chris Owusu returned a kick I would yell, “Oooowooosuuu” as if my yelling would give him energy.

With Bryce Love I found myself in awed silence as you could see him make the cut to the outside or see a hole opening up. I knew he was gone. No need to urge him on and hope my extra energy would keep him a step ahead of the defenders. Just left shaking my head and smiling.
