They beat the Bears last night, but their top two QBs went down with injuries. Apparently Herbert has a broken collarbone.

Freeman also went out with an upper body injury. Cal certainly hit hard last night when they weren't being gashed.

Stayed up waaaay too late, among other things following the Kal Oregon game, eventually following comments on Bear Insider. I love the smell of self-absorbed despair in the (for me) early morning. Glad Oregon seems horribly banged up. Glad Kal seems bereft at QB.

Yep, it seems like the Ducks are turning into an up and down team. Lose to ASU, turn around and whup Kal despite losing key offensive personnel to injury. It will be interesting to see how they do against the Cougs.
