The Holders -
Hank 91 - 09-12-2017
I don't know how I forgot about the fact that Alijah Holder has a twin brother playing for San Diego State. Here's a piece CBS must be planning to run prior to the game.

Oh man. Alijah's brother will try to play the game of his life. We should try to exploit that.
Imagine being in the shadow of an identical twin brother who gets more stars, more offers, and more chatter about NFL prospects. You can't blame genetics. You can't blame family environment. It's on you.

The brother is a wide receiver. He'll try to get open, like he always does. I'm not sure how we can exploit that.

Great stuff. They have never played each other. Looking forward to the matchup.

A great write-up:
"Twice as Nice"
Identical Holder twins square off in SDSU-Stanford game
Nobody can make the most of milestone celebrations better than mothers, and Angela Holder has herself the perfect event to go big with this week.
On Saturday, her identical twin sons will be pitted against each other for the first time in their lives when San Diego State hosts No. 19 Stanford.
And this isnt some thinly conjured matchup to make for a good storyline. Mikah Holder is SDSUs top returning receiver from a year ago, and Alijah Holder is the starting right cornerback for the Cardinal.
It is virtually guaranteed that the 21-year-olds who slept in the same bed for most of their young lives will lock eyes across the line of scrimmage.
I think Im going to have to self-medicate in the parking lot before the game, Angela Holder said with a laugh. This one is going to be hard on my husband and me...........

Agreed. Maybe Mikah should have chosen DB instead of WR? It seems like he's doing quite well for himself, but at this level every little advantage helps. Their physical attributes might be better suited to the DB position.Â
Identical twins are fascinating...

I'm really glad this is such a wholesome family story about twin brothers from a great, supportive family.Â
By contrast, I remember the days of the Jose/Ozzie Canseco story, which was clouded by the uncomfortable fact that one twin suddenly outweighed the other by 50 pounds of muscle. One was an all-star, the other a minor leaguer. One was a 40/40 guy in MLB, the other a 15/15 guy in AA. One was driving Ferraris and sleeping with Madonna, the other not so much....
