I am curious to see what Wedington can do on KOR.

I'm hoping he has only one KOR but many PRs.

Good to have JJ and Mike Tyler back with Tyler back strong enough that he replaces Toohill in the starting position.

Our depth at CB sans Alexander isn't all that deep any longer. Who played nickel versus Rice?
Interesting that Okereke and Barton are still listed starters at ILB. The thought was that Alfieri was banged up for Rice which is why he wasn't starting. I wonder if he is still banged up a bit?
Tucker still listed in the depth chart despite questions on whether he would redshirt this year and/or transfer. If we lose a guard to injury, we could really use Tucker even with Wilson waiting in the wings.

I'm old enough to remember when you had to sacrifice your first born to the injury gods to make sure Terrence Brown and Alex Carter didn't get hurt, because then there was nobody of quality behind them.
It's not too likely that you would use more than four CBs in a tightly contested game like USC would seem to be. But Eboh is also available to play as well. So too is Adebo if worse comes to worse.
The Defensive Line depth is far more suspect than the CB depth, even with Alexander out, IMO.

Two deep at corner:
Meeks and Holder;
Antoine and Murpny
Coach Shaw says Alfieri is still learning the ILB position.

Was thinking the same thing. And apparently Alexander is really fast. Too bad he's out this weekend.

What was our nickel package versus Rice? Who came out and who came in? Or was it hard to tell because there was so much rotation with second stringers playing early and often?

Well, since permanent memories tend to kick in around the age of 5, I guess we can conclude that you are at least 8 years old (Alex Carter) or even 9 (Terrence Brown).

We have never been this deep at the corners, IMHO. They will be challenged with speed this weekend, but I'm really looking forward to seeing what these 5 (including Alfieri at ILB) will do against Usc. Also looking forward to what the band will be allowed to do. I'll be there!
