Quote: I was out walking near my hotel when I came upon a guy lying by the side of the road, moaning and talking gibberish. His SUV, still running, was sitting in the middle of the road. I tried to help him to his feet, but couldn\'t, and decided anyway it was a bad idea -- he was having a seizure or hallucinations or both, and everybody including him was better off if he just stayed on
Man, I hate misconceptions about epilepsy!!

After the Giants-Dodgers opener the other day, one needs to be clear that such comments are meant in jest. (There is a ":p" on the previous posting.)
To me, it is obvious that, despite all the comments that we fans make about our rivals, we would never intentionally harm or otherwise cause serious problems for them. (Except when such harm comes in the form of their embarrassment by losing.)
We tend to make comments, especially among friends, that are known by all who immediately hear it as in jest and not serious. But someone could quote such a comment out of context and imply a different interpretation.
