The Hulls just tweeted they have been accepted. Great news.Â

Nice, hopefully we'll have more good news in that Olivia Nelson-Ododa chooses us and gets accepted; that would be an awesome final piece of the puzzle with the talent Tara has accumulated recently

Here is Olivia's blog:

Her injury has sidelined her for spring and summer.Â
UConn and South Carolina are going hard after her, but she still has 12 schools she says she is considering. Way too early to know how her thinking is going to develop, but she would be a perfect match for us.

Or. lol. Sorry can't comment more. Yes a jerk post by me. More to come in time

Class of 2020, so we got time but considering Tara wants us to play more like the Warriors, who better to have on the team than someone who is friends with Steph Curry?

That would be great if we could get her, but she has to sit out a year, right? So, would she take the last spot open in the Class of 2018, if I have it correct and wouldn't that close the door on possibly getting Olivia Nelson-Ododa or another prospect from that year out of high school?
Re: WBB recruiting -

Fascinating news. She would be the first basketball transfer since Brooke Smith, right? And the weirdness of Lili going to Muffet while Erin goes to Tara. The fan post that "Muffet was not too good to Erin and drove Erin away" should be taken with a grain of salt. I doubt that fans really know that much.Â
But...if it really happens she would certainly be welcome here and probably an immediate contributor, since she would start playing immediately after McPhee graduates. It does not sound like she would be eligible for the Romeo treatment, any more than Lili was going the other direction. But Bob, would she play wing? I don't remember what she was playing for Notre Dame.

Heh. I wonder what Raoul's source is. It would be funny if Raoul's source is BobK's post above. Bob overtly is only pointing us to the Boneyard rumor thread, though I guess he's implying that he knew something before the Boneyard post...  ;D

My post above May 6 was about Boley but this being an open board I couldn't say more.Â
I also posted on TOS about then.Â

Ah.
NDNation has a thread now too.

I was interested in the Notre Dame comments describing Boley as a "6'2" stretch PF (called "the best shooter in the country" by Muffet) who can bang with bigger players."
She hit .395 three point shots, making a whopping 47 of them despite playing only 15 minutes a game. She also hit in the 50% range in close, and hit 89% of her free throws. She sounds like she could be used the way we used Bonnie her senior year, except she would have better presence inside.

Thats an Interesting point, however IMO Alanna will be in that spot as she is much bigger and a better defender. Boleys weakness was defense according to what I watched and comments from MM.

Great point Will. Of course if we were extremely fortunate to get a Boley she would sit out next season. Â

It's now public. Boley to Oregon
Re: WBB recruiting -

Is there any chance Boley's decision sheds some light on our recruitment of Olivia Nelson-Ododa? If so, then perhaps Boley to Oregon may not be bad news...

Two thoughts:
Kelly Graves is loading up on talent. Boley will be joining a talented lineup with Ionescu, McGwire, Hebard plus the class coming in this year. I have a feeling that we'll be battling for the conference title in Eugene and at Maples for the foreseeable future.
I hope so, as much as Boley's sharpshooting would have helped, we already have multiple players (Dodson, Fingall, Moschkau, Smith, Carrington) that could play the 3 or 4 that she plays. In the team that Tara is assembling for the next few years, we lack a down-low post/center to the other recruits she's been getting. Olivia Nelson-Ododa would be the perfect final piece of the puzzle
