Anyone watching?  I missed the first half, and I'm not sure I can bring myself to turn it on now.

(This must be the most boring thing to happen at Moody Coliseum since my high school graduation ceremony.)

I just started listening to the KNBR stream.  48-19 is the score not in favor of the Cardinal.

Is Haase pronounced "has?"

Yes, rhymes with "Mass" and "Class" but I was DVRing the game for delayed "enjoyment"... now maybe not so much.

Oops, sorry to spoil :(  I've heard such variants as "hayz" or "hoss."  But seriously, these shooting stats are depressing.  SMU has +12 ast and +4 blks as well.  Pretty event on fouls and rebounds.  Stanford leads in FT%, but the Cardinal cannot buy a bucket tonight.

No worries, if I had wanted to remain in the dark, I wouldn't have checked the 'board.  I'll probably watch bits of it and fast-forward through a lot. I hope that the team learns something from playing the game that will help them later on in the season.

Commentators claim that SMU could have beaten Kentucky with that first half of play.  Stanford is outscoring SMU by 7 in the second half.

I wonder how much the long finals break contributes to a game like this.  Yeah, we had an exhibition game against a D-II team, but does that really prepare you for a road game against a Tourney-caliber team after two weeks off?  Is there some rule that our sports teams can't play during dead week or finals except for postseason or playoff events?
