On to the elite 8.  We play Louisville next they are the 4 seed Stanford the 5.

What a match!!!!

So glad Stanford won.  Controversial play in the end and a lot of heated exchanges between coaches and players.  Anyone has more information on the exchanges or the controversy at end?

Yes - would love to know more about the heated exchange at the end. The live stream stopped abruptly mid sentence.

Very, very exciting match with good play in both directions. Glad to see it not go to PK. Both teams played inspired offense and defense. There were many good chances so glad to see one go in instead of PKs.

There did appear to be some questionable calls and non-calls by the referee. Having the win makes it OK. It would have been terrible to have lost because of the referee.

Officiating was definitely inconsistent.  Many calls going against Stanford.  The ref completely missed an obvious handball that would have given the UVA player his second yellow card.  Iʻm just glad Stanford won.

Stanford womenʻs team losing in the second round and the way  they loss still stings.
