Five yrs. after bomb went off in the stadium - Redrum - 03-06-2011
Stanford gets itself a bomb sniffing dog. Too bad he wasn\'t around when Ted interviewed Wlat.
Cute story. Naturally, the dog is a Lab. A goofy dog to match the goofy Band.
And, of course, Stanford being Stanford, they check he press box and the skyboxes first and foremost. Odd factoid: Stanford Stadium is supposedly #40 on he list of Bay Area at-risk for bombing sites. Makes you wonder what the whole list is and who makes/keeps it.

Speaking of bombs, it was kind of a thrill to discover in high school--in the course of researching a paper--that my hometown of Rochester, NY, was in the top five targets for the Russians to nuke in the event of a nuclear war.
(Apparently there were some satellite controlling stuff in Rochester at the time.)

I don\'t think it\'s prudent to list danger sites. Suffice it to say that prominent tourist spots, military installations, transportation hubs, and places where large numbers of people congregate are all targets.

Wouldn\'t this take Stanford Stadium off the list?
