Jeff Tedford gets a real job in college football - Spiny_Norman - 11-10-2016

Jeff Tedford, who had been serving as an offensive consultant to UW, to be the new HC at Fresno St, his alma mater.

I was really hoping that Fresno would be on the C.al schedule in an upcoming year.  Alas, no.

That's a bummer.  He was one of my top choices to replace Tavitagren.

Is Tedford responsible for UW's offensive output?  Or is Tedford just the lucky beneficiary of a wealth of talent at UW right now?

Also, given the well-known hatred between kal and UW, I wonder how many kal fans are beside themselves at this betrayal...

Would Stanford pay him?  I wonder if Stanford has relatively young, early-in-their career offensive coaches like Pritchard because they cost less than more experienced ones. Is Shaw spending most of the coaching budget on defense?

Stanford has more money than a whole bunch of countries, they can pay these people whatever.

Tangent: I heard that Charlie Strong couldn't get the Texas boosters to pony up for his first choice offensive coordinator at some point.  I guess the boosters really do control the purse strings elsewhere...

He's not coming back as long as Shaw's the coach. Shaw's not having him and he's not having Shaw.

That's really a shame.
