Washington @ Stanford: the game 4 all the marbles? -
Purplehaze206 - 09-27-2016
I know some of you already are having doubts about the game, but I got to throwdown why I think the Huskies win this game. Saturday is going to be a WAR!
1. Jack "COBRA" Browning - He is the best player on the field, enough said on that. He has a whole season under his belt and he will do everything possible to win the game. Off the scale with clutch ness. He was a monster among boys at Folsom, broke all the records of the land.
2. Offensive Line - They average a weight of 332 lbs across the line, they are ready to dominate the line of scrimmage. Tray Adams, Brostek, Center, Cal McGary, Yip Harris, Biggie Ossai etc. These boys have the attitude and are ready to rumble.
3. Kawasaki - New Defensive Scheme and a new attitude. Every player has spoke out about the difference between last week and this week, we will see a much improved defense on game day.
4. Speed, Speed, Speed - This is the fastest UW team has been in a long time. Budha Baker, John Ross 3, Charlie McClutchins, Gaskin, "Jack" Daniels, Dotson, Lil'Ossai, even Labron Coleman got faster this off season. The newbies will be inexperienced but will bring something that they haven't had in past seasons, which is speed. Like Joyner.
5. Time of Possession - I think UW can dominate the time of possession stat. The more they can shorten the game and keep their defense on off the field, the better chance we have to win the game.
I'm usually using my head to think about this games but not today, but I am trying to think with my heart instead. So, I think UW wins this one rather easily on National Television, say 34-17....

Let's see if I got this right.
You think you are going to win because,
1. Your QB was pretty good in high school.
2. Your OL is fat.
3. You had to abandon your defensive scheme after last weekend's disaster.
4. You have to rely on newbies to find anyone who can move.
5. To win you have to dominate a stat in which your opponent is currently ranked 41 spots ahead of you (36th vs 77th) despite a massive difference in strength of schedule.
Got it.

It takes a pretty special fan to get his starting QB's name wrong while boasting about his prowess...

Sometimes, it's better just to use your head to post coherent explanations as the heart often thinks with an obtuse structure oblivious of proven facts. Follow with proofreading, careful editing, contemplation, and finally, retraction.

Don't get distracted by the details that are irrelevant, this game will be blood feud. Vic will have the guys snarling you can bet on it.
Coleman had 181 yards and found his wheels.
P. S. Why do you make me feel like you are making me take a SAT test every time I make a post?

Once you have 10 posts it will stop. It's just making sure you are not a robot and and not just posting to sell something.

As a Seattle native during the Dirty Don era, I have become used to this. I hope the Dawgs have a good game and get just enough points to not be embarrassed. In the end, even with Stanford's depleted secondary, I am guessing you have not thought that Stanford is also the fastest it has ever been as well.
As to your SAT reference, I too was confused at first, but it serves multiple purposes:
1) It keep bots from infiltrating the system. Red 5 needs to be free to fly without computer generated clutter.
2) It forces non-fans and fans alike to learn some history.
3) Most pure trolls will not take the time to answer the questions every time and soon give up.
4) I, personally, love the confused posts it generates from folks new to the board. I was a newb to this board once and asked the same question.
