2012 Laundry List -
Hey - 02-24-2011
Looking ahead to next year, there are 14 people graduating (Luck included). Maybe 1-2 others not brought back for their 5th year. That leaves 16 slots open for new recruits, 3 of which have already been filled with QB\'s (Lloyd, Hill, Mornhinweg).
I\'m curious to see how the remaining 13 are going to be filled out. It\'s also been a while since anybody committed, I\'m looking forward to any news about that too.

I\'m guessing we end up with a few more than that. Â People get injured, transfer when they realize they are either homesick or buried on the depth chart, or both. Â
I noticed also in looking at the roster posted on rivals that both Ricky Seale and Keanu Nelson are now listed at DB. Â With Seale, I know, it was a pretty big deal that he have a chance at RB. Â I wonder if, after a year of working with them, he realized where he stood in the pecking order and decided to try his hand at DB (where he was also very highly regarded). Â

Usua Amanam also moved to CB and is already third on the depth chart.

ym,
Are you saying that\'s good or bad? Good: He\'s beaten some people who were recruited as DBs. Bad: he\'s switched positions and he\'s only third string in the new position.

Good. He won\'t ever beat out Taylor, Wilkerson, or Gaffney, and the 2 frosh are very good as well. Amanam just made the switch so it will take time to move up the depth chart. I always thought Seale would move to CB. Rivals had him as a 4 star although he may need to slim down a bit.
